WHO ARE WE?

We are NOT your average, traditional church!

We are a pentecostal, word-of-faith church that sees the power of God on a regular basis. We see people saved, healed, prospered, and set free all of the time.

We are hungry to see God’s normal in our lives. However, in order to see the power of God, we must challenge our corrupted flesh’s nature. We don’t settle for being average. We actively chase after the things of God, which can feel uncomfortable to the corrupted flesh (Heb. 12:11).

Because of that, people often fall into one of three categories:

They love us
They hate us
They don’t know what to think about us

We understand each position, BUT for those who hunger for the things of God, humble themselves to His Word, ask questions, and stand strong, their life goes up! The vast majority learn to find their joy again and really live for Christ!

OUR PASTORS

Pastors Bryan & Nicole Wright

Bryan and Nicole Wright are the founders and pastors of Boomerang Church International Inc. Bryan and Nicole married in 1999 and have two daughters and a son who are actively serving the Lord.

Bryan & Nicole also founded WhatsWright.com, a growing resource center for the body of Christ with online tools, teachings, & a daily live broadcast called ”Lunch+”.

Through Boomerang Church, their WhatsWright resources, live streaming, radio and tv networks, and podcasts, Bryan & Nicole are consistently equipping the saints to grow into the full stature of Christ for the work of the ministry to advance the kingdom of God!

Bryan & Nicole were heavily impacted by the full gospel message and have a dedication and devotion for training up and empowering people around the world with manifestations of the supernatural fruit of Jesus Christ!

WHAT WE BELIEVE

THE SCRIPTURE IS INSPIRED: The Holy Bible, in its entirety, is the only infallible authoritative Word of God and rule of faith and conduct, inspired by the Holy Spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)

THE GODHEAD: There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Philippians 2:6; Matthew 3:16-17)

THE DEITY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST: The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His vicarious, atoning death and bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule and reign. (1 Timothy 3:16; Romans 3:25,26)

SALVATION: The only means of being cleansed from sin and being born again or saved is through calling on the Name of the Lord, confessing with your mouth Jesus Christ as Lord, and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Repentance from sin, or change of heart, is a given and expected result of true belief in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. (Romans 10:9-10,13)

REGENERATION BY THE HOLY SPIRIT: Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation. We further believe in the keeping power of the Holy Spirit as our seal. (Titus 3:4-6; Ephesians 1:13-14)

DIVINE HEALING: The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to faithful prayer of the righteous. (I Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17; James 5:14-15)

THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: The Lord Jesus Christ baptizes regenerated believers in the Holy Spirit with the eventual evidence of speaking in tongues. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is offered and commanded to every believer as an empowering work of the Spirit. This baptism is distinct from the initial regenerating work and indwelling of the Spirit in salvation. The evidence of speaking in tongues is made available to each person in the experience. The purpose of this gift is to enable every believer to be led by the Holy Spirit in all circumstances, and empower them to walk in the fruit of the Spirit. and the gifts of the Spirit and not walk by the flesh. (Acts 2:4, 10:46, 19:6; Ephesians 4:11; I Corinthians 12:8-11; Galatians 5:22-23)

THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: All nine gifts of the Spirit as listed in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 continue to be expressed in the church today and subject to the order prescribed by scripture.

THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD: In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost—the saved to everlasting life, and the lost to everlasting damnation. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thess. 4:16,17)

FAQ

WHERE DID YOU GET THE NAME “BOOMERANG”?

In prayer before we founded the church we felt the Lord very clearly gave us that name. We sought to be obedient to His direction even though we even thought it was so different. After we launched we have had many testimonies just because of the name!

When defining the Boomerang name, we have always seen it as a picture of our body of Christ in this manner:

Each week, through Christ, our church body empowers each individual believer to go out & do the work of Christ, like a person empowering a boomerang to be sent out and fly. If it’s thrown correctly, the person will disperse that energy along its course & land back in the hands of the body ready to be thrown & empowered again!

WHAT DENOMINATION IS BOOMERANG CHURCH?

Boomerang Church is a non-denominational pentecostal church with the full counsel of the Word as our standard. (Some would classify us as interdenominational as well)
